“He (Helton) was a big part of my recruitment and the energy he had when he talked to me was unmatched always excited to see me,” Williams told On3Sports.
“It does impact my recruitment, but coach Vic and Gavin and Donte are still there,” Williams said. “Donte (Williams) will make an immediate impact as a head coach. He can relate to stuff we go through…That would be huge for USC (if he were to stay as head coach).”
