“Honestly, I wasn’t even planning on taking this visit. It was just an opportunity, and we had a bye week. It’s the culture they have here. It’s a winning culture. The development of D-linemen consistently. They’re the No. 1 team in the nation. Stuff like that makes you want to go to Georgia,” Breland told Dawgs247. “I checked it out for the first time, and I was like, I really like it out here. I really like it out here. And then I came back a couple other times, I went to the spring, and I was like I gotta take an OV. It just hit me. I needed to come back here.”
“I feel like coach Tray Scott, [assistant D-line coach] Dayton Leblanc, we have a really, cool relationship. We gel a lot. I actually talk with [support staff] coach DHill a lot too. That guy is my West Coast connection over here. I always feel at home over here. I feel like I’m talking to one of my own,” Breland said. “I have a lot of interaction with coach Kirby. Coach Schumann, the thing about coach Schumann, he gives me that crazy mad scientist defensive coordinator vibe.”
