UGA Basketball Recruiting: Dawgs Have a Great Shot to Sign This Top Five Star Target

Newell spoke to On3 about Georgia – “It’s hard for programs to show me how they’re going to use me because I can do so many things. On the defensive end and I can shoot really well for a four-man. So it’s kind of hard for them to show me how exactly they’re going to use me because Georgia has never had someone like me with my skillset. I say that humbly of course. I could really build a legacy with Georgia. I feel like they’re on the come up too, they just need the right pieces. Coach Erik Pastrana was my first offer when he was at Oklahoma State. The Georgia staff, I definitely have the biggest relationship with them, going on two years and some change.”
