UGA Recruiting: Big Time Defender Can See Himself at Georgia

“Coach Diribe told me he saw him, but he didn’t tell nobody about what Steve looked like. He walked in, and everyone started looking over their shoulders at him. That’s when coach Smart found out that was Steve. People were coming over, like, woah. Coach Smart said, ‘We just want to see him move.’ So we didn’t expect to, but said, ‘Steve, let’s do it,'” Mboumoua’s trainer Jean Guillaume told Dawgs247. “Steve was doing 1-on-1s. The more he was doing, the more staff was coming over to watch. They’re like, ‘What is this?’ They were so impressed that he didn’t expect to do the workout, and he just said let’s do it. The fact he wanted to do, and he was dominating, and they said the same thing Saban said: ‘He looks college ready.'”
“The camp was very nice. But I can really see myself on the field there,” Mboumoua said. “It felt good. The first time, I didn’t talk to the coach. The second time, the coaching staff worked with me. I really liked Coach Diribe. I like to win. Coach told me if you put your mind to work, you’ll have good results. Coach Diribe was really nice and patient during the camp. He taught me a lot of technique. I loved the coaching from Coach Diribe.”
