“Since early in the season, Georgia has been coming very strong,” Johnson told On3 earlier this fall. “They have been recruiting me really hard lately. Georgia wants me to be a part of the team, they want me to be a Dawg and it is a school I have to look at.

“I love my chances at UGA of being produced and being league-ready by at least year three,” Johnson said. “Nothing against Florida because they have been nothing but good to me since I’ve been committed. Schooling isn’t an issue because regardless, I’m going to get my degree. . . but sports-wise, you start to think long term which school would benefit you better and I see UGA is where I belong 100%.”
