“The coaching staffs and family feel,” Bentley said to 247sports on what he’s looking for in a school. “Can I win a national championship there? Obviously, that question is huge. The development piece of being a quarterback is big. Can they develop me to be an NFL quarterback while I’m in their program?”

“Just being able to watch him through practice and seeing how he (Kirby Smart) talked to me,” Bentley said. “He’s involved in every single position during practice, and he’s hands on with the offense even though he’s a defensive guy. He’s out there motivating everybody from the kicker to the quarterback. The energy he brings every day makes you a better player. The defense he coaches is going to make you a better player practicing against it.
