“I think that the relationship Kirby and I have goes back a while,” he told DawgNation. “I think some of the other coaches I’ve been talking to have just started to get in the loop with me. After I’ve been getting serious with them. But I think Kirby, out of the bigger head coaches, has definitely been one of the first coaches I’ve started to build a relationship with. I think that goes a long way.”
