ATHENS, Ga. – Week thirteen of NFL action is complete, and several former Bulldogs had exceptional performances for their respective teams.
Buffalo Bills running back James Cook III continues to inch closer to the NFL rushing crown as he now sits just 54 yards behind current league leader Jonathan Taylor. Cook’s 144-yard rushing performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers was his seventh game with 100 or more rushing yards, which leads the league. With 1,228 rushing yards so far this season, Cook has already set a new career high in rushing yards.
Meanwhile, Cleveland Browns cornerback Tyson Campbell, has had a dominant role in the NFL’s second ranked total defense. On Sunday, Campbell recorded his fifth game of the season with two or more passes defended, bringing his total to 15 this season which is tied for his career high. Cambell now has over 50 passes defended in his NFL career and currently ranks second in the NFL in passes defended.
