“Just the relationship I’ve built with coach Scott over this past year-and-a-half has probably been the best relationship I’ve had with a coach, period,” Hall told On3. “I could call coach Scott right now and I feel like he would pick up the phone and give me advice whenever I need it. That’s just the way I feel about coach Scott.”
“It was just sheer dominance,” Hall said. “Jalen Carter is probably the best d-lineman in the nation. I felt like he proved that. He came back healthy, getting reps again. The scheme, I felt like coach Scott came out with, was just shutting down the offense. I felt like they did a perfect job of doing that. I don’t think they scored until the last four minutes of the game. They scored, what every other drive this season? They’re probably the best offense in the nation going against the best defense, in my eyes.
