“It was before my game and before UGA was leaving to fly out to Kentucky. Coach Fran and I got in touch. He asked how the family and I were doing and asked about my grades,” Jones told DawgsHQ. “Then, he offered me. I was very happy, surprised, and blessed. He really didn’t get into detail about it other than saying that he loved my game film. They were heading off, and I was getting prepared for our game.”
“I actually haven’t been there yet, but I know a lot about Georgia being that I grew up in Georgia and with most of my family being Georgia fans. So, yeah, I know a good bit about the school,” Jones said. “They have an outstanding academic and football program.”
