UGA Recruiting: Kirby Smart and Company Are Setting Georgia Up as the Favorite for the #1 Player in the Nation
“When I committed, I was all in with Ohio State,” Raiola told On3. “Some things changed, and I am starting back at square one. I am wide open to everyone again, and I am just taking my time and seeing what schools are interested.”
“Visits will be key for me,” Raiola said. “I have no timeline, and I want to get out in the spring to see what my feelings are at different places. Getting out, spending time on different campuses and being around different people will help me narrow things down without rushing anything.”
“How Georgia goes about their business has always jumped out to me,” Raiola said. “They are very professional. Coach Smart is a unique head coach. He is a winner in the SEC. He’s won back-to-back national championships and Georgia is rolling right now. Coach Smart’s trying to make Georgia, Alabama, and you can kind of feel the shift going on. I’ve been to Georgia a lot and it is a special place. It is a school I plan to visit again.”
