UGA Recruiting: Elite Offensive Lineman is Very High on the Dawgs
“After seeing their success the last season, I’ve obviously been very interested in Georgia. They are able to continuously win in the hardest conference football has to offer,” he said. “I was in Georgia this past week, and Coach [Stacy] Searels called me and wanted me to come down for a practice and a visit. In that same phone call, he also offered me.”
“It was really good,” Poe told DawgsHQ. “We totaled about 2,000 miles on the road in 4 days. (As for Georgia,) they showed me the complex and practice, and I got to sit in on meetings and a film session. I also got to talk personally with Coach [Kirby] Smart and Coach [Stacy] Searels. Their complex easily would rival any other in America.”
