UGA Recruiting: Dawgs Making a Move for Elite DB, But He Might Just Have Georgia Coaches Fighting Over Him

Gilbert told Dawgs247 – “The whole time I was there, you’ve got Coach T-Rob and Coach Donte, they think I can play corner. T-Rob wants me for safety. Coach Donte wants me for corner. He came to the school and spoke with me and was telling me how many first-round picks you see for safety. There’s not many. How many do you see for corner? He was pointing out things like that and saying how corner is better for me for my body, too,” Gilbert said. “We were in the film room, and were going over things I usually wouldn’t notice when I get over there. We were talking about draft picks. We were talking about all the colleges that they started the most freshmen last year. They don’t show favoritism. If you’re good, you’ll start. It doesn’t matter. If you’re their guy, you’ll be out there.”
